Our path to more sustainable transport
Prima Line is actively working to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and contribute to a more sustainable transport future. One of the key steps in this direction is the renewal of our transport fleet and investment in less polluting vehicles.
We currently have five trucks running on biogas (bio-LNG) in our fleet. It is one of the cleanest alternatives to diesel, reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional ICE vehicles. They also emit significantly less nitrogen oxides and particulates, and their lower noise levels make them particularly suitable for urban night-time transport.
Another important step is the partial electrification of the car fleet. Some of the company’s cars are hybrids, which reduce fuel consumption on daily routes and contribute to reducing emissions, especially in urban conditions. This helps to ensure more efficient use of fuel and less impact on ambient air quality.
For us, sustainability is not just a declaration, but a practical solution that we implement every day. We are actively sorting packaging in our warehouses, using electric lifts, striving to increase fuel efficiency and are interested in innovative solutions that meet both Lithuanian and European Union Green Deal targets,
